Blessed to
grow up in Christian home and raised by a Baptist minister, Ron was influenced by his grandfather who
played banjo, fiddle and mandolin. Ron was saved at ten years of age
however, struggled
with his salvation for several years, before truly surrendering his life
to Christ.
Ron traveled for ten years as part
of a trio before being called into a full-time solo ministry.
Ron
recorded his first major project with Church House Music/Chapel Valley
Studio entitled “My God Still Moves," written and produced by Mr. Shane
Roark. "My God Still Moves," "I'll Make It Someday," "God Will See
You Through," and "Price Of Salvation," all are receiving charting
through various genres.
Ron recently
was nominated in the Top Five Diamond Awards for Soloist of the Year. He received the nomination for the 2007 GMTC Award and the 2007 WGC Soloist of the Year Nominee. He has
shared the stage with many of the finest in gospel music, including, The
Hyssongs, The Roark's, Trevor Thomas, The Profitts, Eternal Vision, The Dosses,
Relations Quartet (Paul's Journey), Big MO, Heirline, The Greens, The Greesons,
Gerald Crabb, Brian Free
and Assurance, The Talley's, The Hoppers, The Dixie Melody Boys, Young
Harmony, and
many others.
Ron
sings at the National Quartet Convention and has appeared on many
syndicated Television programs.
Ron's mission
is simple; to fight the good fight of faith, finish the course that has
been laid before him, share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and
dying world and offer encouragement to the discouraged.
Singing
Southern Gospel and Christian Country, Ron is sure to bless audiences of
all ages with his heartwarming vocals, testimony and humor.
