NEWS FROM THE ROAD
Well
another Christmas has come and gone, but not without the joy of knowing that our
dear Savior was born! How could we not celebrate the birth? I have been so
saddened this season at how many have forgotten the reason of the season. While
listening to the radio the other day, I was shocked to hear how many have
forsaken the reason we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. It is not about
the lights, or packages, but about the precious child that was born.
As me and my family entered into this joyous season, we celebrated with an even
greater happiness. One that we have so much to be happy for. Not only was we
thankful that for the birth of our Savior, but that he gave his life for us,
redeemed us from our sins and gave us a new home in heaven. Many of you have
written, called, sent emails and many of you may not know, but we have so much
to be thankful for. Since the first of December, it has been a time of
hardships, a time of despair, a time of helplessness, a time when all you could
do but whisper "Jesus." But, it is in those times when you know, he is right
there with you. When trouble and sickness hits those that you love the most, I
can promise you, you find quickly who is there with you. On December 6, in
Chattanooga, TN, I found out. I don't know if I have ever encountered anything
as frantic in my life. I watched hopelessly as my wife dropped right before my
eyes. I could do absolutely nothing for her. Kneeling beside her, scared to no
end, all I could do was whisper, "Jesus." That is all that would come out of my
mouth. Our ten year old son beside me, scared and yet, brave.
We had left Christmas in the Smokies, in Pigeon Forge, TN. Three wonderful days of the most fantastic concerts, chapel services, where nine people was saved on Friday morning and over 16 rededicated their lives to the lord. The devil was mad and we knew it. Old slew foot had already attacked guests of the event, but didn't win out there. Now, he was on a roll with us. He had tried to attack some of the other artist and didn't win out there and now, he was hitting us. As my wife, lay there on the floor, totally non responsive, I could not think straight, could not think of the first number to call, only "Jesus." But you know, there is no better name in heaven to call upon. He is the name above all names. Myself, another gentleman and several people around were talking with her, but she would not speak. Over fifteen minutes passed and she still was non responsive. Finally, the ambulance arrived. Everything to them appeared to look good, but they felt she needed to be checked. It turned out, she suffered from a seizure. She lost an entire week of memory. This has been very hard for her and me. We have tried to fill her in on what we can, but there is no way to replace a weeks worth of memory. Finally she gave in and said, maybe God wanted my brain to rest. But it has been difficult to see her suffer like this. I have had to be mommie, daddy, housewife, nursemaid and well, you name it. But, our vows did say, for better or worse. But, the miracle is, things are better and getting better every day. I just have to do a little more than usual and getting use to things that I am not quite use to. So, if you haven't gotten a response on something hang tight, I will get to it. But, remember one thing, never take a day for granted. It may be the only day you have. God has given us each day for a reason. They are to share the laughter, tears and heartaches with those you love. Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today, tomorrow may never come. And remember, "This is the day that the lord hath made. "Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Can you believe it is already Easter? Celebrating the resurrection of our lord. We all have something to praise him for. He laid his life down freely, so you and I could have life. I don't know about you, but I know he is coming soon.
It has been a great four months on the road.
We have seen the lord at work in so many wonderful ways. We spent the first two
months of the year in FL. We have many praise reports of all the lord done. Many
people gave their lives to him. We also ministered to so many people on the
streets.
We left FL and headed for TX. I tell you, we were in high hopes of seeing warmer
weather in TX. Not so. I know everyone of you were in hopes of seeing some of
that warmer weather as well. The pastor, Bro. Harvey took us fishing. You would
just had to be there. Trish nearly got dumped into the ocean. Of course, she
just had to give Bro. Harvey a hard time, that he was trying to get rid of her.
It was great. On Sunday we saw 8 young people, 18 and under surrender their
lives to the lord and 6 rededicate their lives. Oh what a celebration. Of
course, our van tore up, lol. But PTL, it was fixed and we are still driving it.
Off to OH we went. Great and powerful services. Our first stop we saw the entire altar fill up. Mighty move of the spirit. We were with Kevin Spencer and had a great time in Dayton, OH and the spirit flowed so freely.
We were in Canton, OH and had an awesome service and God showed up and showed out. People coming to the altar and seeking him. Folks, isn't that what its all about?
Then we spent two days in the studio, at Chapel Valley preparing for the next project. Many of you have been requesting to bring back some of the older songs and you are going to be thrilled by this project. I know I am.
I ask that you continue to pray for our country, the leaders, lost souls, this ministry and doors to continue to open, and for one others ministries. Left each other up daily in prayer. Until next time, remember to call your radio stations and request, "We All Came Through the Blood."
We love you all,
Ron

I cannot believe it has been since March since I last updated everyone on how everything has been going. But, we have been on the road consistently and God has been pouring out his spirit. We have seen so many come to know Christ. I cannot put numbers on them, as there is no way possible. But, I can tell you, there has been many. There have been many that has renewed their faith in God and many homes that has renewed their walk in God. I praise him so much for what he is doing.
Since I last updated everyone, we have been in FL for several months, PA, NY, WV, NC and SC and Branson, MO for the Branson Gospel Music Convention, which is officially now the Branson Gospel Music Revival. God is placing a divine call upon peoples heart to have a revival. There is no time like the present. Our land needs a revival, a spiritual awakening.
I know many of you like to hear about our mishaps on the road and there has been plenty of them. I guess the funniest of all, would have been this past Monday when I was on my way to sing and Trish wanted to stop and get a cup of coffee. We have been in FL again and she isn't hooked on coffee, but French Vanilla Creamer. I stopped, she went in and stayed forever. When she finally came out, I said honey we are going to be late. She said, but you don't understand. I said and?? She said ahhhhhhh. I said, spit it out, what did you do. She said wellllll. To make a long story short. She went in, began to make herself a cup of coffee, a lady asked if she could help her and she asked where the French Vanilla Creamer was. She informed Trish they didn't have any. Trish said, oh well, I will just have to use regular creamer. The lady said, but you can't. Trish said why?? The lady said, because you can't come behind the counter in a Dunkin Donut Store. Oh, how she was embarrassed.
We are so excited about the new project entitled "Reflections." This is an awesome project of countless reflections of your favorite songs from years past. Be watching for it in the next few weeks.
